چکیده
This paper deals with an almost global stability result for a chemostat model with including effects. The proof relies on a particular small-gain theorem which has recently been developed for feedback interconnections of monotone systems.

Crowding effects promote coexistence in the chemostat∗
This paper deals with an almost-global stability result for a particular chemostat model. It deviates from the classical chemostat because crowding effects are taken into consideration. This model can be rewritten as a negative feedback interconnection of two systems which are monotone (as input-output systems). Moreover, these subsystems behave nicely when subject to constant inputs. This allo...
متن کاملA new small-gain theorem with an application to the stabilization of the chemostat
New small-gain results are obtained for nonlinear feedback systems under relaxed assumptions. Specifically, during a transient period, the solutions of the feedback system may not satisfy some key inequalities that previous small-gain results usually utilize to prove stability properties. The results allow the application of the small-gain perspective to various systems that satisfy less-demand...
متن کاملA numerical method for discrete fractional--order chemostat model derived from nonstandard numerical scheme
In this paper, the fractional--order form of three dimensional chemostat model with variable yields is introduced. The stability analysis of this fractional system is discussed in detail. In order to study the dynamic behaviours of the mentioned fractional system, the well known nonstandard (NSFD) scheme is implemented. The proposed NSFD scheme is compared with the forward Euler and ...
متن کاملStability of Integral Delay Equations and Stabilization of Age-Structured Models
We present bounded dynamic (but observer-free) output feedback laws that achieve global stabilization of equilibrium profiles of the partial differential equation (PDE) model of a simplified, age-structured chemostat model. The chemostat PDE state is positive-valued, which means that our global stabilization is established in the positive orthant of a particular function space—a rather non-stan...
متن کاملThe relationship between the tooth size, arch dimensions and dental crowding
In this study two groups of dental study models were selected to evaluate the relationship between the tooth size, arch dimensions , and dental crowding. The first group consisting of 56 pairs of dental study models (28 males and 28 females) with normal occlusion ( without dental crowding) ranging in age from 16 to 20 years, were selected among 4445 students from Kerman by multi stage rando...
